How to Get Started

Is your not-for-profit group doing great things to make British Columbia more sustainable? Are you working on an energy conservation or sustainable development project? Create a short video to tell us how, and you could receive $10,000! For tips on creating a winning video, download the Community Champions Toolkit.

Send us your video submission between August 18 and September 30, and you could be chosen as a finalist.

Between October 15 and November 30, the Community Champions site will feature the semi-finalist videos. We encourage everyone to visit the site and vote for their favourite initiative. Five Community Champion winners will be determined by public voting and a panel of BC Hydro judges.
